"Dolly's Playtime Set"

Pattern Source : Annie's Attic Leaflet 872417 "Dolly's Palytime Set"
Designed by Cynthia Harris

Here is the list of patterns included :

Bassinet/Purse, bed
Doll
White Dress, hat, panties
White PJ Set (top, bottom, bunny slipper, toy bunny)
Sundress Set (dress, bonnet)
Short Set (shirt, shorts, headband)
Overall Set (overalls, shirt)
Footed PJ Set (PJ with fanny flap, blanket)

When I just started crocheting, my sister-in-law gave me this leaflet. :) I made this set in the year of 2002. The leaflet include patterns for everything on above picture, plus one for a little toy bunny, and one for a small dolly which I did not make because I did not have the suggested yarn for it. Instead, I used two strands, and balanced the length of arms and legs like I wanted in order to make a bigger version. I did the same with the dress she is wearing, plus I put a couple of flowers on it (picture below). ;)
The colors of the clothes are slightly different from suggested ones…

My Button :) & Red Coasters

The famous Donna <Yarn Tomato> did it again! :)))
She made me a button, and I really LOVE it! :)

Thank you very, very much Donna! you are sooooo wonderful! :)

Being delighted with my button, I made 6 coasters last night. :D

Mini Drawstring Pouch

Pattern Source : Petit Boutique Series #224, Page 58
Publisher : Boutique-sha

This pouch is about the size of my palm. The same pink thread was used for the motif doily I made earlier. :) I really enjoy making little things like this one.

OK, what am I making next? :D I really should have more than one projects going at the same time because I feel so empty-handed when I am done with one and trying to decide what to make next. :(

By the way, it seems like my other pictures aren't showing right now here. :( I go find out what is the problem... ;) Whatever it is, I hope it will be solved soon...

WIP

Ah, it's Monday... Well at least, it is Monday morning now here in Japan. :D
I am enjoying a nice quiet time now. :)

I started working on a small drawstring bag with the leftover thread. :)

Motif Doily

Pattern Source : Kikkakebon Handicraft 18 page 19-20
Publisher : Ondori

I put together 7 round motifs and 12 little ones to make this doily. I love the color of the thread, it is really nice soft pink. :) It is hard to capture the true color with digital camera. :(

I tried the questions by Quizilla today and following was the result. :)

You are Merino Wool.
You are very easygoing and sweet. People like to
keep you close because you are so softhearted.
You love to be comfortable and warm from your
head to your toes.

What kind of yarn are you?
brought to you by Quizilla

They don't celebrate the easter holiday in Japan. :( I miss coloring eggs...

Happy Easter everyone! :)
