My recent days

Hi all!
I haven't posted much, but I am still working with yarn! I am SLOWLY knitting (For those who expect crochet items - I'm so sorry, but I'll be crocheting again soon) a baby item, and it's almost done. It's pink and cute - I will post a photo here as soon as I can. :)

Another thing I'm doing a lot lately is watching Japanese TV drama on my computer. I'm just hooked! I have lived in the US for 15 years now, and I just recently found out that I can find videos of them on the Internet. Watching them makes me feel like I'm in Japan, and it also brings back memories of my youth. :D My favorite one so far is this(Drama Wiki).
You can find links of the videos all 9 episodes of Season 1 here, Season 2 is here, then the final movie here! They say the site is "absolutely legal", and I have NO intention of any wrong doing so if any problem arises, I'm taking these links down ASAP. Anyways, please also don't blame me if you get hooked on watching Japanese dramas! :D I'll let you know if I find some other good ones. ;)

There is one Japanese famous comedian (Kanpei Hazama) I have been watching since he started his "Earth Marathon" 49 days ago. - He is running and sailing across the Earth.
22 years ago, Kanpei-chan ran in my hometown. I saw him and wanted to say hello to him, but I was too shy to do it. - This, I still regret. "Ganbare, Kanpei-chan!!!" When you come run near us, I'll go to see you!

Somehow, he reminds me of my father (Kanpei-chan even looks like him a bit. :D) who still paraglides at 64 of his age (and to me, my father is some kind of a monster because he doesn't look his age at all!!!). I can find his paragliding records on some websites, and I am a proud daughter. :)

This year, I started playing the violin! :)))
My son started learning to play the violin at school in August, and I was so inspired by him and the beauty of the instrument. Santa brought me a violin, and I went to the first violin lesson last week. My teacher is such a nice lady who plays in orchestra at my local church. I'm learning with Suzuki Method and playing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" now. I love it!!! I just know this is the musical instrument I'll always love playing. :) I can't wait to be able to hold the bow correctly & comfortably, and play decently!

Next post will have my crochet/knitting news, I promise. :)
